Some Serious Rough Riders: "The Dire Wolf Cavalry"

So one day I had an idea, I wanted cavalry... but considering my unit is Ice warriors and there are a serious lack of horses in the 28mm variety, I decided that I was pushing the Space Marines off their thunderwolves, calling them  dire wolves and placing actual lancers on them. PROBLEM... I had no guardsmen that would ride atop these wolves... That is when my friend John stepped in and did so in a big way. He sacrificed several of his lancer knights from the warhammer fantasy game to do the conversion. He did and excellent job with the conversion. We painted them together and they turned out great.
